Comments Welcome!

I just want to emphasize that I’d like this blog to be very open and inviting for people to contribute either by posting comments or by using the contact form. It’d be great if we can get some good conversations going in the comment sections, as I’m sure there’ll be a lot to talk about after each episode.

Also, with this site being extremely new, don’t hesitate to send me any suggestions, bugs, or anything else you can think of. I really am hopeful that this place will be great place for people to come and get the latest and greatest Blade series news and info. If there’s any features you like to see, leave a comment here or shoot me an email via the contact form. Also, if you’ve got any good news tips or topics you’d like me to write about, I’d love to hear it.

  1. I watched the series premiere and was slightly disappointed by Blade’s character portrayal. I understood Blade has all the strengths of vampires and none of their weaknesses. However, it appeared the newborns were equally as challenging as the older vampires. I love the Blade character and hope this series is better than the premiere.

  2. I too had some issues with Blade having difficulties taking on the vampire bottom feeders. I’m hoping that this problem, as well as a few others, were only due to it being the first episode. Usually pilot episodes have a lot of quirks that will be ironed out as they have to try and introduce all these new characters and plots within a limited amount of time.

I’ll be doing a full post on my thoughts on the show tonight or tomorrow, so be sure to come back and check it out.

  3. I have to wonder why the House of Chthon and the House of Aramaya have bad blood? Boone, went to the House of Aramaya for a reason? Obviously, he wants to align with them to get back at Marcus. The Aurora Vaccine is only a part of Marcus’s plan. Chase feels threaten by Krista , but why. I am sure Marcus has been attracted to others, but Chase wants her gone. This show is filled with shades of grey absolutely. What is Vanessa carrying and it isn’t a baby. Marcus also better watch out because Charlotte may be on to him. Whatever happens it will be interesting .

  4. Well, we learned that the House of Armaya is in exile and that they only have one pureblood left (who isn’t allowed a seat on the council). That’s probably the reason Marcus targetted them for his experiments, since they don’t have near the power or the support as the other Houses.

Boone went to the House of Armaya for those very reasons. He knows they would be able to use the information that Marcus experimented on them as leverage. Charlotte even said that Armaya would be able to use the info to start a vampire civil war. As such, Boone’s information is VERY deadly, especially if given to Armaya.

As for Chase and Krista. I think Frederick nailed it on the head when he said that he thinks Chase can sense Krista’s true nature. Also, Chase is power hungry and doesn’t like seeing somebody else take favor with the powerful Marcus.

The baby may be a pureblood, which would have huge implications. If Marcus somehow found a way to create purebloods… the whole vampire class system could be thrown out of whack.

There’s definitely a lot going on and I love it.
