So the results are in and it appears that most readers are relatively young. This really isn’t a surprise as the younger age groups are/were the television show’s target audience.

19-29 took the biggest chunk of votes, which is how I’d thought it would go. Surprisingly, the 30 - 39 group beat out the 13 - 18 group. I was suspecting a stronger showing from the 18 and under group partly because it seemed like the show would appeal more towards that group, but also because you usually see the younger groups online more and I would have suspected more of them visiting this site.

It’s great to see one vote for each of the extremes, though hopefully the 12 and under voter isn’t much below 13.

As for me, I’m 26. I’m not sure if that comes as a surprise or not. Hopefully my writing doesn’t come off as being from a 12 year old - but then again, you never know. I, personally, have been into vampire movies and shows for as long as I can remember. The vampire movie Lost Boys actually used to be my favorite movie growing up. My fondness of vampire entertainment was my motivation to start this site (even before the show aired).

Anyway… that’s enough personal mumbo jumbo for now - back to our regularly scheduled program. Oh, and as always, thanks to everybody who participated in the poll, it’s really great to see a good turnout even after the show’s (hopefully temporary) hiatus.
