New Poll: Who’s Backstory Do You Want to See More of?

This week’s poll asks you to try and pick which character you’d most like to see more backstory of. As you can see from the poll on the right, I’ve only put up the 5 main characters as choices, so you’ll have to pick from those.

So, if we are lucky enough to get a second season, which of those 5 do you think has the most interesting history? Which has some deep dark secrets that could potentially put some even more interesting twists on the story? Do you go with Blade so that we can learn even more about his troubles with becoming a vampire? Or maybe Chase, who’s past is still mostly a mystery? Maybe Marcus or Krista, two people who’s paths have seemingly been forever intertwined, maybe there’s even more to their past than previously thought? And don’t forget Shen. We know little of his past, though the last few episodes started revealing bits of it.

There’s a lot of interesting things they could do with further backstory on any one of those characters. You’re job is to pick the one you’d like to see most.

    3. Yeah, I’m torn between all of them. While I’d like to see more of Marcus and Blade’s history, I might rather see some backstory on some characters that we know little about, like Chase and Shen, or even Krista.

    5. Hey Jeff…Did you read one of the interviews (at least I think it was an interview) with Geoff Johns in which he stated Chase’s background was much more unpleasant than Marcus’ history? Makes me wonder what role Frederick played in that story. Hopefully we will all find out in the future!

      Yes I beleive I did read that. “We” have speculated on Chase’ background to great lengths on another forum.

      It is intriguing… and truly hard to “predict” based on her personae today and Frederiks personae… they are so different.

      Her desire for power and relative ruthlessness combined with her sexual appetite. Shes killer and her past I suspect would be more upleasant than Marcus.

      Sigh… if only I knew we would see this story unfold. I dont know whats better at times. Watching the series and not knowing how it all unfolds.. or having not have watched the series at all.

    8. Thanks for the response, Jeff. As for your the last part of your post…I have had the same thoughts myself. But I would have to say even if we don’t see the continuation or culmination of the series storyline, I am still glad I watched it. The garbage that is on so many channels (if there is another reality show aired on ANY network, you will be able to hear me screaming in Canada)…it was so refreshing to watch a show which took me to another place, had good storylines, great acting and made me think.
