New Poll: What Was Your Favorite Surprise?

With the holiday season upon us, I’ve decided to let this poll run for two weeks. This means that I’ll be closing it and posting the results some time on Tuesday, January 2nd. With the extended time, I’ve made the poll a that asks a very interesting question with quite a few answers to keep you thinking.

What Was your Favorite Surprise?

  • Charlotte’s Death
  • Collins’ Death
  • Marcus’ Real Plan
  • Chase’s Betrayal of Marcus
  • Marcus’ Past
  • Krista Turning Her Mom
  • Chase’s Fake Betrayal With Alex
  • Truth Behind Vanessa’s Pregnancy
  • That Marcus Knew About Krista and Blade

As you can see, there’s many different surprises to choose from. I’m not asking what you thought was the biggest surprise, but rather, which one was your favorite (which very well could be the same thing for you). Even though I’ve added quite a few options, there’s sure to be at least one or two surprises that I missed, but hopefully you see a clear favorite out of the choices provided.

*update: I previously screwed up and put Charlotte’s name in a couple choices rather than Chases - I’ve fixed this.

  2. Yeah I have no clue what I’m going to vote for yet. I’ll sit and think about a few choices and think that I have my mind made up, but then I’ll think of something else and change my mind completely.

When the poll is concluded, I’ll probably post a little writeup of each surprise in the results post with my feelings on each.

  3. One problem with the poll but the true fans will know the intent!

Its not Charlottes betrayal of of Marcus and Alex… ITS

Chases (God bless her barely beating heart) betrayal and for the record her betrayal of Alex was SLICK and ingenious and garnered my vote unequivicable.

I love the selection of “twists” / “surprises”.. just shows how excellent this TV series was/is! Great POLL Squirrel.

Merry Christmas everyone and I wish all continued Health in the New Year and prosperity!!

    Cheers!

  4. I agree with Jeff Thomas on the fact that Chase’s decision was unexpected but well deserved.

  6. I just read this from tvseriesfinale.com

:( I am sooo bummed! I hope someone else picks it up!

After some speculation, it has been confirmed that the original Blade TV series (based on the Marvel comic series and hit trilogy of movies starring Wesley Snipes and Kris Kristofferson) has indeed been cancelled, unfortunately leaving fans with a cliffhanger.

A representative for Spike TV confirmed that the Kirk ‘Sticky Fingaz’ Jones action series has indeed been cancelled and won’t be renewed for a second season. The network is said to have been very happy with the cast and overall production but that the audience and ratings just were not as large as they’d hoped. The show started off with 2.5 million viewers but, by the September 13, 2006 finale, viewership had dropped to less than a million. End of story? Maybe not.

Though there weren’t enough fans for Spike TV’s liking, New Line (who produced the show) still believes in the show and reportedly would like to see it continue. Actor Neil Jackson (better known as Marcus Van Sciver on Blade) has said that New Line is currently looking for a new home for the series.

Blade TV SeriesThe 12-episode series has yet to be shown overseas or to be produced on DVD. Both are currently in the works and Neil thinks that, if the series does well in these areas, it could help bring about a second season. TV fans will remember that phenomenal DVD sales brought about the return of the Family Guy animated series and inspired the short-lived Joss Whedon Firefly series to return as a film.

  7. Yeah, I had linked to the official cancellation a few months ago so it has been officially cancelled for awhile now. There is very little chance that the show will be back. Keep in mind though that “very little” still means there is “some”.
