Blade's Dad Talks About the Show

If you saw the previews for next week's episode, you'll know that Blade's dad will be making an appearance in the form of a flashback. The actor who'll be playing the Daywalker's father is Colin Lawrence and he's done an interview with Starry Constellation Magazine.

From the interview:
Q)What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) There is not any man, woman or child that I know that wouldn't want to be a part of a comic book. You can't pass that up! Truth be told, my favorite comic book was Teen Titan. That was the one I really loved. I think it's amazing just being a part of Marvel comics and getting to be a part of a project gone to film that is now being turned in to a TV series. I think, if you can't play Blade, then you can sure play his daddy! I think that's great because who wouldn't want to be the father to a super hero? It's just a great opportunity and I am happy to be a part of it.

As you can see, he does talk about the show, though be warned that some of what he says could be considered spoilers (though nothing is really given away other than what he will be doing in the episode). Fans of his or of the show should head on over and read the full interview.

Spike TV's Babe-A-Lizer

Jill Wagner with gunSpike TV has section on their website called the Babe-A-Lizer and wouldn't you know, Blade: The Series' Jill Wagner is the first girl shown. The women currently featured are from last night's Women of Action show. You can also switch the page to display Hooter's Girls as well.

If you poke around a bit, you might notice some interesting features in the filter menu. You can filter the girls based on breast size, clothing, poses, and more. Of course the whole thing is just plain sexist and horrible - it's not my fault I can't stop drooling.

Blade Cast's MySpace Profiles

Well, after some further MySpace digging, I found that the main Blade: The Series cast members all have MySpace profiles. Below are the links to the profiles.

*update: thanks to reader Mike, I have updated this post to include Jessica Gower's and Geoff Johns' MySpace profiles. Thanks Mike!

*update 2: it appears that Jessica Gower's profile has been deleted. I will update this post if I can find a new link.

Blade: The Series and MySpace

So apparently the Blade television show has an official Blade TV MySpace profile. As I'm writing this, the profile has 3,968 friends. I'm not into the whole MySpace thing, so I don't have a profile to join in, but if you do and you're into the show, you may want to head on over and add yourself.

Oh, and you can specifically join the official NightStalkers (vampire hunters) group or the House of Chthon group if you so desire. If you do join up, it'd be great if you could mention this site.
